Can we visit SPA without being a member of Hillside City Club?

Yes, our guests who are not members can take treatment appointment from Sanda Spa.

What shall I take with me while going to SPA?

You do not need to carry any personal items when you are coming for Spa. The items that you will need such as towel, kimono, peshtemal, slippers, shampoo, hair creme and shower gel at the showers and moisturizing body lotion are all available at our spa.

How early shall I come for my appointment?

We recommend you to arrive at Sanda Spa 15 minutes before the beginning of your therapy. Thus, you will have the chance to take a shower before the treatment and this shower will relax and prepare you for the massage.

Shall I use the sauna or hamam first?

Because sauna is a dry session, you may prefer it first and then moisturize your skin in steam room and use the hamam in the end. Thus your skin will be a lot more refreshened.

What if I arrive late for my appointment?

Because your delay will affect the timing of the next massage appointment, your massage will end at the time determined before and the time for the treatment will be shorter. Shortening of the durations due to your delay will not have any effect on the price of the treatment.

What if I want to cancel my massage?

If you would like to cancel or change your appointment, please call at least 2 hours before the appointment time. For packages or special group treatments, you need to notify at least 24 hours before the appointment time.

Can I keep my valuables with me?

In the lockers available in the locker room, you may keep your valuable items.

What kind of clothes shall I choose while going to SPA?

At Sanda Spa, strong oils are that can stain the clothes are not used and because our oils do not include paraffine, they are quickly absorbed in the skin and do not leave any stain or trace. However, as a precaution, we recommend our guests to wear dark colored clothes and not wear silk.

Can I eat before my visit to SPA?

Because the Spa areas include hot places like steam room and sauna and that the heat accelerates blood circulation in your body, we recommend you to not eat 1-1,5 hours before your visit to Spa.

Can I use perfume before going to SPA?

It is fine if you use perfume before coming to SPA, however we advise you not to use strong perfumes while they can affect the smells of fume and essences used for mental stillness.

Can I wear make-up while coming to Spa?

There is no harm in coming to Spa wearing make-up, our therapists provide removal of make-up when necessary.

How is lens usage at Spa?

Because there are wet places at our Spa area and the possibility of falling a sleep during massage, eyes with lens can be damaged. We suggest not using them during your spa visit.

Shall I wear underwear during massage?

We suggest not using any elastic material that can affect the circulation of the body during the massage.

Where shall I leave my mobile phone at SPA?

Because Spa area is strictly used for relaxing purposes, in order to provide a full relaxation for our guests, we kindly ask you to leave mobile phones in the lockers at the locker room.

Can I have wax before SPA?

If the service that will be taken is massage, arriving at the spa after such treatments will not cause any effect, however if services such as peeling, or washing with kese (coarse bath-glove) will be taken having the treatments such as shaving, waxing at least a few days before will prevent the skin from irritation.

How shall I communicate with my massage therapist?

Whether there is any problem in the body of the guest is questioned before the beginning of the massage and the area is not massaged if there is any problem. Also, if the guest had an operation, no massage is provided for at least 6 months. It is important that our guests share all kinds of information regarding their health to prevent from any faulty treatment.

How shall I inform the massage therapist for problematic areas?

Before starting the massage, the guest is asked if there is any health problems. If so, the massage is concentrated on that area. However if the guest had an operation, massage should be done at least 6 months later.
